Road trippin...

I thought that I would have atleast gotten one blog post up since my arrival in Buenos Aires on Monday...but was too busy checking out things in South America!

And now I'm no longer in BA and still havent posted anything yet. Arrived in Bariloche today, and it is stunning. One of the most picturesque places I have seen! Here are a few pictures (and video) from the trip so far!

Some good looking blonde girl got in the way during this pic of Plaza Mayor. The audacity.

Yes, Evita's tomb. The cemetery is actually amazing

Bus from BA to Bariloche. 23 hours, no big deal

Taken today in Bariloche. Not bad at all!

Hope all is well, wherever you are ;)

More to come in the following days!

Time for South America!

Well, I'm getting ready to hit the road again (or skies, for that matter) and am heading down for a month long stint in South America, starting out in Buenos Aires, Argentina!

I couldn't be more excited...If you would have told me at the beginning of this year that I would have spent four months in Europe and now making my way to SA, I probably would have slapped you in the face ;-)

I'm taking the handy dandy iPhone with me again, so it will serve as my camera and blogging device, while I'm scurrying around Patagonia and other incredible spots!

Much more to come in the following days...

Hope you enjoy!

One last post (probably!)

As the clock continues to tick down towards departure time on my travel adventures, I can't help but feel very blessed.

I know I've spouted this rhetoric before, but it is the one thing that has continued to stick with me throughout this trip. The places I have seen are better than words can describe - and as brilliant as that is - it can't replace the experience of meeting so many fascinating people along the way.

Yes, I achieved a life long (boyhood) dream today by playing golf in Scotland. Photographic evidence, seen here

But my day would have been far less if it had not been for two Scottish men I met on the first tee. Not only were they locals who helped guide me through the winding and sometimes treacherous course, but also lead me on an Edinburgh pub crawl after the round. For you can't come to Scotland and not be "pissed!" they explained to me later. And how could I argue.

In all likelihood, this will be my last post.

It has been a brilliant four months. I have been tested in ways I would never have imagined and can only hope it has made me a better person.

A huge thanks to all those I met along the way who helped make this journey so incredible. If you are reading this, you know who you are.

It has been remarkable.

Cheers!

Winding down...

Going into this trip, I never had an agenda, except for knowing that I would start in Barcelona and go to Lisbon afterwards. And then throw caution to the wind. It has been an amazing ride but there is finally an end in sight. I didn't really want to think about the day that I would have to return to reality, but now that it is upon me, I am excited to be going home. Don't get me wrong, it is still very bittersweet. I have met so many incredible people and seen so many beautiful things that it is hard to leave them behind. But I know that this won't be the last time.

I can't help but feel so damn lucky.

Off to London tomorrow, then Scotland before I hop the pond!

Croatia & Montenegro

Before this trip began, I really never thought I would make it to where I am now. Montenegro truly is amazing. The city of Kotor has to be one of the most beautiful places I have seen on my trip and Budva, while quite touristy, is charming as well. And tomorrow, I will head into Albania for the day! It is a great feeling to go to a place that I once stared at on the atlas or globe, thinking "hmm, I wonder what this place is like" and realizing it is no longer a dream, but reality!

Here are a few more pics from Croatia and some from Montenegro!

A sight I will never forget. The city is a Unesco world heritage site for a reason

That's it for now... Until next time!

Dubrovnik & Co.

Here are a few pics from Dubrovnik!

The Old City

A Croatian Sunset

The island of Lopud, Sanj Beach is on the righthand side of the picture. Was about an hour boat ride from Dubrovnik and a 30 minute walk from the port, but was well worth it!

Life's a beach!

That's about all for now!
